Puffin Sculptural Bowl

Puffin Sculptural Bowl

$85.00

The Puffin Sculptural Bowl is inspired by one of my photographs taken in Svalbard: a pair of puffins perched on the cliffs, sharing a quiet moment of stillness and connection as the Arctic wind moves across the coastline. A scene that captures tenderness, balance, and the silent beauty of these birds that inhabit the edges of the world.

Hand-built in warm stoneware clay, this bowl features a detailed sculpture of the puffin pair resting on a rocky ledge, carefully painted with slips and sealed with a transparent glaze that highlights every stroke and gesture in the design.
The exterior base is glazed in a deep black, evoking the texture of the rocks and cliffs where these birds find shelter.

Its artistic design and versatility make it a sculptural yet functional piece that can be used as:
• a planter for succulents or small plants,
• a decorative container for jewelry, keys, or daily objects,
• a centerpiece for an entryway table or personal altar,
• an ornamental bowl for shelves or contemplative spaces,
• a standalone art object,
• a symbolic vessel for rituals, candles, or natural elements.

Each bowl is one-of-a-kind, with natural variations in color, texture, and form that reflect its slow, intentional, and presence-filled handmade process.
This is limited-edition signature ceramic: vitrified, durable, and created for those who seek objects with soul, story, and a true connection to the wild.

A piece that brings the calm of the Arctic into your home, and the gentle, loyal energy of the puffins who inspired it.
