The Polar Bear Large Plate is inspired by one of the most striking images from my expedition to Svalbard: a male polar bear running across the glacier, framed by towering mountains that reveal the raw power and vastness of the Arctic.

This 27 cm dinner plate transforms that moment of pure energy into a sculptural piece of functional ceramic.
Hand-shaped and finished in warm stoneware clay, it features slip illustrations and a transparent glaze that highlights the icy light, glacier textures, and the presence of the bear in motion.
Due to the artisanal nature of the process, each plate is unique, with subtle variations in color, line, and depth that honor the slow rhythm of its creation.

Its generous size makes it a versatile piece:
