Puffin Large Plate
The Puffin Large Plate is inspired by one of my photographs taken in Svalbard: a pair of puffins resting on the cliffs, exuding that curious serenity so characteristic of the species. A moment of calm and companionship in the heart of a wild and untamed land.
This 27 cm dinner plate captures that scene in a handcrafted ceramic piece, shaped by hand in warm stoneware clay and decorated with slips inspired by northern tones. It’s finished with a transparent glaze that enhances the natural texture of the clay and the illustrated details, allowing each nuance of the slip to breathe through the surface.
Each plate is one of a kind, with natural variations in line, color, and texture that reflect the slow, manual, and intentional process that defines this collection.
Its generous size makes it perfect as:
• a main plate for special occasions,
• a decorative piece for wall or shelf,
• or a contemplative centerpiece.
This is limited-edition functional ceramic: durable, vitrified, and born from a real-life encounter with wildlife.
An object designed for those who wish to surround themselves with purposeful beauty and pieces that connect the everyday with the purest nature.
A plate that brings into your home the stillness of the Arctic and the quiet tenderness of two birds living at the edge of the world.
