Little Auk Small Plate

The Little Auk Small Plate is inspired by one of my photographs taken in Svalbard: a little auk gliding through the air in front of the towering Arctic mountains.
A fleeting moment of lightness and freedom in a vast, silent landscape.

This 20 cm plate translates that moment into a handcrafted ceramic piece, made from warm stoneware clay, illustrated with slips in cool northern tones, and finished with a transparent glaze that enhances the natural texture of the clay and the details of the design.

Its versatile size makes it perfect for:
