Puffin Small Plate

The Puffin Small Plate is inspired by one of my photographs captured in Svalbard: a pair of puffins resting on the cliffs, in a moment of stillness and quiet companionship.

This 20 cm plate transforms that scene into a handcrafted ceramic piece, shaped by hand in warm stoneware clay, illustrated with slips in cool tones, and finished with a transparent glaze that enhances the natural texture of the clay and the design details.
Each brushstroke, shade, and surface variation tells the story of the slow and meticulous process that defines this collection.
