Polar Bear Sculptural Wall Mural

The Polar Bear Sculptural Wall Mural is the founding piece of the Guardians of the Ice collection.
It was the very first artwork I designed, the moment where the entire concept was born: transforming my Arctic photographs into tangible, tactile art full of presence.

Inspired by one of my most powerful images —a male polar bear running across a glacier, with the towering Arctic mountains rising behind him— this mural captures the strength, solitude, and majesty of the polar landscape.

The piece is composed of hand-shaped, hand-painted rectangular tiles illustrated with slips in cool tones that recreate the depth of the glacier, the shadows of the mountains, and the movement of the bear.
Framed in wood, the tiles elevate the work’s sculptural essence and its identity as a contemporary decorative piece.

The surface is matte and unglazed but sealed to protect against moisture and preserve the integrity of color and texture.
