Polar Family Large Plate
The Polar Family Large Plate is inspired by one of the most intimate and moving moments of my expedition to Svalbard: a mother polar bear and her two cubs resting on icebergs, floating in the stillness of the Arctic sea.
An encounter that revealed the strength and vulnerability of wild life, and became the emotional heart of this collection.
This 27 cm dinner plate transforms that scene into a functional and contemplative ceramic piece.
Hand-shaped in warm stoneware clay, it is illustrated with slips in cool tones and finished with a transparent glaze that brings out the ice, the calm water, and the soft northern light.
Due to its artisanal nature, each plate is unique —with variations in line, texture, and color that reflect the slow and intentional process that defines this work.
Its generous size makes it ideal as a main plate for special occasions, or as a decorative piece to hang or display in your home.
This is limited-edition ceramic: durable, vitrified, and created for those who choose to surround themselves with objects that carry soul, story, and purpose.
A plate that brings home the stillness of the Arctic and the tenderness of a wild family, reminding us of what matters most: the strength of connection, the beauty of silence, and the need to protect what we love.
