Polar Bear Small Plate

The Polar Bear Small Plate is inspired by one of the most powerful images from my journey to Svalbard: a male polar bear running across the glacier, with the towering Arctic mountains stretching behind him — a striking reminder of the strength and grandeur of this land.

This 20 cm plate transforms that moment of energy and presence into a handcrafted ceramic piece — shaped by hand in warm stoneware clay, illustrated with slips in cool tones, and finished with a transparent glaze that highlights the clay’s natural texture and the depth of the illustration.

Thanks to its versatile size, it works beautifully for:
