Polar Bear Medium Mug

The Polar Bear Medium Mug is inspired by one of the most powerful photographs from my expedition to Svalbard: a male polar bear running across the glacier, with the vast Arctic mountains rising behind him.
An image that captures the strength, solitude, and undeniable presence of this extreme landscape.

Each mug translates that moment into ceramics: the bear’s movement, the immensity of the ice, and the cold light falling over the polar terrain.

Hand-shaped in warm stoneware clay, it is illustrated with slips in Arctic tones and glazed with finishes that evoke the glacier’s texture and the contrast between snow and rock. Due to its fully handmade nature, every piece is unique, the lines, colors, and nuances vary subtly, honoring the slow and meticulous rhythm of the craft.
